Compare target groups with target group splits

Compare different target groups by giving them the same test script.

Some questions can be answered best if you compare different target groups with each other.

Therefore, you can create several target groups for a test directly in the booking form. Simply click on "Create additional target group" after selecting the target group.

You can also use different target groups if you want a specific gender distribution (e.g. 50:50).

You can create any number of target groups per test and flexibly define all properties for each target group.

Per default, all target groups will be given the same test concept, but it can also be adapted for each target group later on in your dashboard.

You can find out more about the options for narrowing down your target groups here: Who should be your test subjects?

A few examples of target group splits:

  • Existing customers vs. new customers
  • App users vs. non-app users
  • Younger users vs. older users
  • High vs. low household net income
  • Different professions
  • iOS vs. Android
  • specific gender distributions

With target group splits, you can also ensure that you have an even age distribution in your test by creating separate splits for the different age groups.

You can read how to perform other comparison tests, e.g. design comparison or competition comparison, here: Comparison tests with task randomization
